		<abstract>The objective of this study was to identify and classify the homogeneous units present in the natural fields of Pampa biome by the use of images from Sentinel-2, reasoned by different levels of forage offer and the presence of individual areas invaded by Eragrostis plana Nees. The area of study comprehended the polygonal that are part of the Eolic Complex of Cerro Chato, in the county of Santana do Livramento-RS, covering an area of approximately fifteen thousand hectares. The analysis utilized the image Sentinel-2A/MSI and the classifier ECHO, with support of samples gathered in field for identification and collect of classes, together with a diagnostic of vegetal cover to evaluate the level of infestation of capim-annoni-2. The results show that the classifier ECHO was efficient in the discrimination of homogeneous units of vegetation in the Pampa biome. In the evaluation of the quality of classification, the result founded was satisfactory, with the value of coefficient Kappa in 88,5%. In the areas invaded by Eragrostis plana Nees, the results of classification associated with the diagnostic of vegetal cover made viable to indicate a likely threshold of the percentage of the invasion that the classifier was able to separate the invader specie from the other classes utilized. The classification also showed efficiency in identifying the different levels of forage offer present in the natural fields, allowing to classify them in two levels: low availability of forage and moderately high avilability of forage.</abstract>
